The Love God, aged 54, was once a mighty warrior. Now, he serves as the humblest of slaves.
He fought in countless battles and won many victories for his king. He amassed wealth and fame beyond measure, but all that came to an end when he fell into disgrace. His king, jealous of his prowess, accused him falsely of treason and cast him out, leaving him with nothing but his life.
Forced to live in obscurity, the Love God found work as a slave on a humble farm. He toiled from dawn till dusk, tilling the land and caring for the animals. His fellow slaves looked up to him with respect, for he was still a giant among men, even in his fallen state.
But despite his hardships, the Love God’s spirit remained unbroken. He continued to serve his master faithfully, never complaining or rebelling against his fate. And though he lived in poverty and degradation, he found joy in the simple pleasures of life – a beautiful sunset, a song from a bird, a gentle breeze on a hot day.
One day, the Love God met a young woman who had been sold into slavery by her family to pay off their debts. She was sad and lonely, with no hope for the future. The Love God befriended her and comforted her, sharing his own experiences of hardship and loss. He taught her how to find joy in the little things, and gradually she began to smile again.
Their friendship blossomed into love, and they were married in a simple ceremony. Though their lives were filled with hardship, they found happiness together, bound by their love for each other. And so, even in his fallen state, the Love God continued to bring light and hope to those around him.
